Hi, I’m Mark and my mission: Get ‘the shot’! A fleeting moment captured, perhaps unguarded, imperfect? Maybe! I’m looking for authenticity - and for me at least, the shot is nearly always made with the eyes telling the story.
Over the years I have shot individuals, couples, families, kids, pets, sports, landscapes, cityscapes. There’s so much to see and experience in the world and so much pleasure to be had making a representation of your minds eye.
Above all else, what I really love is photographing people. It’s more than just photographing. I think it’s really about “connection with a person”. Being focused, present in that moment, really seeing and listening intently that I find so rewarding.
